Streets for People - Car Free Day 2008 - Sunday 21 September
- last year!
Streets for People was a free event to celebrate European Mobility Week 2008.  We created a pedestrian friendly space in the centre of Brighton with music, dancing, entertainment and lots of activities for all ages.  Residents were encouraged to come by bus, on foot or by bike to the event and enjoy our city at its best.  If you'd like to read about this year's event visit this page.

Did you come along to car free day?
If you came to the event we'd like to hear from you to tell us what you thought?  We've got lots of great photos from the event which will be posted here in the next few days. Please email us at journeyon@brighton-hove.gov.uk with any comments you have or any photos you want to publish here!

We've got some great photos from the day below.
