Bus fares 

You can save money on Brighton & Hove buses if you buy your tickets online in advance! SuperSAVER and citySAVER tickets are available online from the Brighton & Hove bus company website.

  • Single journey fare is £1.70 (£1.20 within city centre) 
  • Unlimited day travel available from £2.80 
  • 7 day tickets available from £12
  • Concessionary rates for seniors, people with disabilities, children and teenagers (application required).

Concessionary Travel

Concessionary travel went nationwide on April 1, 2008, allowing anyone over 60 or with a certain disability to travel for free for anywhere in England on a time-tabled local bus route. Find out more about how to obtain a concessionary bus pass from the council's website.

 


Talking bus stops win national award 

 

Brighton & Hove won an award for innovative use of technology in the ‘Building a Fairer Society’ category for our 'talking bus stops'.

Blind and partially sighted people can use the hi-tech signs to receive spoken information on services, including:

  • which bus stop they are at
  • which buses are coming
  • when they will arrive

Audible announcements can be activated by a special key at over 20 bus stops in the city. To find out how more information on how to obtain access to these bus stops and for a list of which bus stops offer this please contact our traffic team on 01273 292514.

 


 

EasyLink

EasyLink is a door-to-door transport service. EasyLink services are aimed at people who can't access conventional public transport or who have mobility problems.
