10,000 Steps ChallengeOn Monday 12 May you can read about our ten thousand steps challenge. We've recruited ten local people who will aim to walk 10,000 steps a day for ten weeks. Our volunteers will receive a health check and will be set a series of mini-challenges along the way to help them reach their goal. You can read their weekly blogs online here. We're announcing the ten challengers on Friday 9 May and they will begin their challenge on 12 May. Watch this space! You can join in with the challengers as we have hundreds of free pedometers to give away and a special 'walking pack' for residents who want to walk more often! Email us with your name, address and a reason why you want to walk more and we'll send you a free pedometer, walking pack and lots of helpful information.
